Hilary Martin has worked in family law for over 17 years.  She started as a paralegal and has been a Law Firm Administrator for the past 14 years. Ms. Martin received her Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate, and Law with a Minor in Business Economics from California State University, Long Beach. She also received her Paralegal and Human Resources Management Certificates from the University of California, Irvine.

As an active member of the Orange County Association of Legal Administrators, Ms. Martin also currently serves as Co-Chair of the CaLM  (California Legal Management Conference) Committee. She also served on the extended board as the Co-Chair of the ACES (Annual Chapter Education Summit) Committee, Communications Committee (Newsletter/Website/Social Media), General Meeting Speakers Committee, Legal Secretaries Course, and the Finance & Technology Section.

Ms. Martin currently serves on the Audit Committee of the Orange County Paralegal Association, formerly served as a member of the Board of Director, and has also been a member of the Executive Committee as Treasurer, President, and Vice President of Administration. Prior to that, she served as the Compendium editor (Newsletter), Scholarship Chair, Educational Conference Co-Chair, the Compendium Coordinator, and the Family Law Section Chair.

In 2014, Ms. Martin received the National Affiliates Award from the National Association of Legal Assistants and the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Orange County Paralegal Association. 

As an active member of the Imperial Elementary School PTA, Ms. Martin currently fulfills the role of Treasurer. She is also the Co-Leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout Daisy Troop.  In the little free time she has left, she enjoys spending it with her two children.
